360 Board Gear has born in Tarifa Spain, one of the windiest spots in Europe, in 2004.
Actually, our story is pretty funny and seems to start with a positive coincedence...
both of us were living in Tarifa, Raf was working in one of the Surf shops in town and Dan was the kite instructure at one of the kite schools in Tarifa.. well at one point without knowing each other we knew we were gonna work together in the winter.. everything we knew about us was he is an English instructor, she is an italian girl, you must have seen her..you must have seen him.. we finally met and surprisily we found out we were both into the same passion.. surf life on the beach, passion for board sports and the freedom emotions they give you..
but besides that the common line for us is the passion for graphic and art work.
So we got together in life...we were both in the middle of a changing life period..

Dan has just recovered from a very bad accident where he broke his neck and cracked his skull open.. got back to work as a kite instructure and start to think to his future in a different way.. when you have that kind of accident you understand how important is life and you start to think what you really want for yourself and your future.. he always want to set up a surf company since he was 17 but along the time he has always been looking for the right partner to develop the project..
Raf was in Tarifa trying to find her way to live her life.. she was working in a surf shop and with her boss were thinking to create some new graphic for the shops tshirts.. but nothing happened.. so talking with Dan they started to think to start up something together and 360 Board Gear born there in Tarifa, where the wind blows and where you can breath the surf life.. so what better than start up a surf brand!

360 Board Gear belongs to the beach life and has been thought for all the people that likes to enjoy their passions on the water and in the wind.. for all the boarders that want to feel free..

The company is run just by us 2 and even though we are just 2, we develop our project all by ourselves, taking care of all the work steps and aspects.. from the graphic to the clothes elaboration. We just want to offer professional products and we work for it all day long if thats what it takes to create something that we like.. we are into board sports and at least 1 of us has a background of many many years of beach life working and travelling around the world.. so we can picture perfectly how we want our products and how to present them. When you start up something, you have a picture of it in your mind and every little step forward makes that picture becoming clearer and clearer, and the future is written by you every day with an improvement on your job..In our job we just want to reach the professionality and the originality combined with the quality..

And in our professional project just came in the sponsorship of the 6 times windsurf world champion Kevin Pritchard.. what better than that?!.. A high level professionist working with us.. you don’t build images but facts!!

For the future we have our own project: associate to the brand name a windsurf and kite school with a cool surf hang out shop.. but this is still part of our dream, at the moment we just want to grow up our brand and make it sparkle.
